Artist's Description

A few years ago when my sister Kim was battling cancer, I took her on a Saturday outing on a Fall weekend. One of our early stops that day was the Chickamauga Battlefield, located in Georgia, south of Chattanooga, Tennessee. This acrylic painting is of a location within that park. The morning was foggy with hovering mist.

About Bob Hall

Bob Hall

Bob took up oil painting as a high school student. But, sometime later, while still in high school, he switched from oils to acrylics, why you may ask. Because Bob's 'art studio' was Bob's bedroom. The smells of the oil paints and linseed oil permeating the house annoyed the rest of the family. But, to this day, if painting, Bob still paints in acrylics. Also, Bob works in pastels on occasion. Bob took up pastel painting, besides acrylic painting, while in high school. Later in life, around 2007, Bob discovered he had a trigger finger for the camera.
